See Your Penny at Work in the Bellview Neighborhood Tuesday (9/22)

Ever wonder what the penny has done for your neighborhood? Here's your chance to find out firsthand.

On Tuesday, September 22, Escambia County and District 1 Commissioner Steve Stroberger are opening the doors for a L.O.S.T. Community Open House at the penny-funded Bellview Library. It's an informal, come-when-you-can event where residents can learn how the Local Option Sales Tax works, see the projects it has funded across the county and ask questions directly.

No presentation to sit through and no sign-up required. Just drop in, take a look and get the facts about the Local Option Sales Tax.

Kids can also get hands-on with the county vehicles the penny helps provide, including a fire truck, an ambulance and dump trucks used by public works crews across the county.
